How have I forget about this band? Finding this video was like stepping into a time machine firing me back to when I was 12 in '82 and listening to this The Headpins, Toronto lying on my bedroom floor on a Saturday afternoon just enjoying great music...

I FINALLY got the pleasure of seeing SAGA live at Hawk Rocks The Park in London ON about 5 years ago....they were outstanding. The musicianship of every band member was stellar. A great show!

No wonder I can't get the chicks, I need to get some spandex. Am I the only one who noticed that the singer almost fell down right at the moment he sang "we'll be heading for a fall"?

Saga can't be beat and the guitar player is adorable not to mention he's a great guitar player! I know just what the singer is thinking when he gets mobbed by those girls.. You do too... Saga for me (and I know this will make some people angry) are way better than Genesis and Marillion I find them much more tasteful and less histrionic. I mean if "Perfectionist" had been Fish or Gabriel they would have been screeching the lyrics and wreck all of it. I prefer Saga's vocal approach.

Whomever thinks this live performance isnt awesome is fucked. This is spot on for a live version. Have any of you wannabees ever tried to play this???? Its not easy and the timing changes are all over the place ( kinda like Changes by Yes) and yet here we witness a wonderful early 80's classic gem being played damn near perfectly and still some bozos on here say stupid shit like " if it was only played better" or "weak performance"......... To this I say " go fuck yourselves"!!!! This was a wonderful performance from the early 1980s, and to whomever posted it, Thanks, its a wonderful glimpse back to that era of time when bandannas tied around your limbs, wearing Union Jacks and Kamikazes, and rocking parachute pants with a sweet set of hightops were all the rage. These kids today have no idea how cool and wonderful the world was back then!!!!!!!!
